Cutting down on IPv6 deployment costs: IPv6 deployment guide
Today on slashdot, there was a report that
IPv6 Transition to Cost US $75 Billion, mostly
linking to an internetnews.com article.
Leaving out any of the details on this, choosing a platform
and software that can save costs is easy. Instead of buying
expensive hardware (and software),
use
freely available software!
As a general overview on how to approach and deploy IPv6,
Pietr Meyer has send me this nice link to an
IPv6 Deployment Guide
(PDF!) which specifically mentions NetBSD (and of course others!)
when it comes to various details. Very much recommended!
