FrontPage is an toolkit for web site generation. The graphical overview of complex document structures (texts, images, ...) helps as much as the facility to search for any broken links. Moving of whole directories is supported, with links being corrected automatically then. The integrated web server speeds development of CGI scripts as well as the frame-designer does for frames.
Disadvantages are that the resulting documents use many Micosoft extensions to HTML, reducing the usability of these pages on a wider range of platforms. Created documents often contain lots of meta-information not useful for the user, such as information on image-maps.
