Communication and Exchange of Experiences

So far, a lot of topics have been addressed that are important when converting a document into either PDF or HTML. However, if one starts working on a conversion, it's easy to loose the overview. Therefore, it's good to have some documents available at which too look for reference, and to see how the one or other detail has been realized. If other people at the same site are working on converting documents, it can be very useful to not let them work independent of each other, but to give them a base for communications, either through a (local) mailing list or some meetings scheduled to inform everyone about the state, problems and solutions encountered.

If unsolveable problems arise, there's a wealth of information on document conversion collected in the conversion reports during the MeDoc project and hosted by Springer, see [8].

On the same site, there's also a list of email addresses of people who've worked on the various document conversions during the MeDoc project, sorted by source and target format they've converted from and to. So this may give another way of getting help when someone doesn't know how to handle a certain problem.
