GNOME on NetBSD needs YOU!
Julio Merino Vidal has been working hard with a few pkgsrc
developers to bring the GNOME desktop environment to NetBSD,
and maintain it over any updates. In order to make it easier
for others to have an overview of the current status and as
an invitation to join in the effort, Julio has
posted to pkgsrc-users
and
his blog.
His post includes links to
hints on hacking GNOME within the pkgsrc environment
plus
a working list what's needed to get GNOME perfect on NetBSD.
If you have some spare time, want to join a team of skilled and motivated
developers and/or want to learn more about the NetBSD operating system
