NetBSD Bugathon: Not quite dead
In a project that has people spread all over the globe,
it's not always easy to coordinate meetings, esp. in-person.
In an affort to reduce the number of open NetBSD Problem Reports (PR),
a bunch of NetBSD developers have set up a "Bugathon" to
analyze and close bugs noted in the NetBSD PR database.
Communicaiton was on IRC, the word spread and soon a number
of users joined in to help as well.
The event was kicked off by Elad Efrat, and he
posted to some NetBSD mailing lists
about both the success of this event and a second one that
will take place soon:
- When:
- October 7-8, 2006 (Saturday-Sunday)
- Where:
- irc.freenode.net, #NetBSD-code
- More information:
So, there's a chance to not only sit and watch to see things happen,
but also to help out. Don't miss it!
